The National Motorcycle Museum, located in Anamosa, Iowa, is a renowned establishment that celebrated the design, lore, and popular allure of motorcycles. Exhibiting a wide range of vintage bikes and hosting vintage-bike rallies, the museum served as a hub for motorcycle enthusiasts and history lovers. Sadly, the National Motorcycle Museum is permanently closed, marking the end of an era. Despite its closure, the museum will be remembered for its significant contribution to preserving motorcycle history and providing a platform for enthusiasts to indulge in their passion.

This museum is great!
They also give military/Veterans a discount on the admission.
The history and the motorcycles are amazing!
I CAN NOT believe they're closing their doors in September.
It's a shame this museum and the history are going to be auctioned off.
I'm hoping someone with the cash can step up and save this place before it's gone.
It's definitely worth a stop and seeing all the motorcycles and other history.
See it before it's gone!
Sad to see this place go, but economic times move on. The museum has some cool stuff if you like bikes. The flow was a bit odd at times, and it might have helped if the place was set up by year, bike genre, or something other than we git this, and here is some open space. It's hard to follow for several in our group, but it's still worth seeing.
It was great and a great ride. 8-hour round trip 15 bucks is well worth it if you're into bikes Yes sadly they're closing September 5th I wish some millionaire that was into bikes would buy this. What a shame it's going to be gone .I feel this place is crucial to the lifestyle
Neat little museum if you love motorcycles and their history. Not as extensive as Wheels through time, but still a cool place. Unfortunately they will be shutting their doors September 5th, so I rode out on a Thursday just to walk through. Took me about 45 minutes. Glad I went.
I've passed this place literally hundreds of times each time saying, "I should stop here" much to may sadness I hear they are closing this year. So, I finally stopped. Wish I had gone earlier and more often it's such a treasure and it's so close for me. I feel shame. Anyway, it was fantastic. It lived up to it's "hype".
I visited in 2022 & thought I left a review, but apparently not. This place is well worth the admission, if you're into motorcycles. There are a ton of cool bikes here and different areas of the museum. All the bikes I saw, had info about the bike.
Don't go thinking all the bikes are "pristine/redone", because they are not. Some are on loan/donated and are used bikes, that would probably start up and take you down the road. Some are a blast from the past, whether for speed or a technical wonder for it's time.
The museum is set up nicely and was clean when I was there. I do wish they had more room in order to see some bikes better, since some areas are pretty packed.
I recently saw that they will be closing this year, and what a shame. I hope I can make it there again, before that day comes. I live a few hours away & well worth the drive.
Come while you still can, as this place sadly closes permanently in the first week of September
It's a great museum. I don't like motorcycles, and I still found it pretty interesting
I spent exactly (not including seconds) 1 hour and 45 minutes here. If you did not read everything, it would take significantly shorter
This was an awesome motorcycle museum, had visited with my brother years ago, so sad to see them closing, all the bikes, memorabilia gone to the highest bidder, but good to walk thru it again
